Verde Mar is a residential community in Punta Santiago, Humacao, near the beach and the PR-3 coastal corridor. It includes the original neighborhood and Extensión Verde Mar, a southwestern addition estimated to date from the late 1970s. Both share connected numbered streets and community amenities, with homes of comparable size and character. Concrete houses, school and recreation grounds, and two interior lagoons shape the neighborhood. Individual houses have been expanded or renovated over time.
