Urbanización Ocean Park is a coastal residential neighborhood north of McLeary Avenue in Santurce, San Juan. Its street grid runs from Avenida Santa Ana and Calle Gertrudis toward Calle España, beside the beach and Parque Barbosa. Homes in the area grew chiefly from the 1930s through the 1950s, giving the urbanization a longer history than many of San Juan's gated communities. Municipal and court records document its residents association and controlled access, while daytime entry remains open so the public can reach the beach. The urbanization has 355 property records; the beach, park, and blocks south of McLeary are nearby landmarks rather than part of those records. This is the named residential urbanization, not every place commonly described as Ocean Park.
