Parkville is a residential urbanización in the Frailes barrio of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, immediately west of the San Juan municipal line and reached from Avenida Lopategui. Developed from the early 1960s, it comprises 507 recorded properties across 506 parcels laid out on streets named for United States presidents — among them Adams, Cleveland, Garfield, Grant, Harding, Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison, McKinley, Monroe, Washington and Wilson — with lettered blocks running from A through T. Two community open spaces sit inside the urbanización: a central park with a court, and a smaller green to its south. The Puerto Rico State Elections Commission lists it in electoral unit 13 of the barrio. Parkville is the oldest and largest of a cluster of communities sharing the name: Extensión Parkville, laid out on streets named for United States states, adjoins it to the north-east, while Parkville Terrace, Parkville Court, Quintas de Parkville, Colinas de Parkville and the Villas de Parkville and Parkville Plaza condominiums are separate developments and are not covered by this report. Urbanización Mallorca borders the Calle Alabama corridor to the east, and Villa Clementina lies beyond it.
